A mass shooting occurred outside Amazura nightclub in Queens, New York, leaving at least 11 people injured. The incident happened around 11:20 pm on January 1, as a large crowd was leaving the venue.
Fortunately, none of the injuries are critical, and all victims are expected to survive. They were transported to nearby hospitals, including Long Island Jewish Hospital and Cohen's Children Medical Center.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) has confirmed that the incident is not being treated as a terrorist attack. Instead, authorities are investigating possible gang connections, as the shooting occurred outside a private party honoring a known gang member.
The suspects, described as four men, fled the scene in a light-colored sedan with out-of-state plates. The NYPD is asking for the public's help in catching the perpetrators.
