The Lagos police command has arrested the three suspected armed robbers who invaded the home of the Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr.IBU which is located in lekki, lagos.
According to E-Daily, Mr. IBU confirmed the arrest when he was contacted yesterday, stating that the police had commenced investigation immediately concerning the issue.
He revealed that two amongst three arrested suspects were spotted by the close circuit camera (CCTV), which he installed in his home.
Furthermore the comic actor who is presently in Enugu added that the bandits invaded his home during the weekend, took away cash and property which cost over N14.3 million.
Mr.Ibu said“ My wife told me that the operation started at about 3am and lasted till about 4:25am on Saturday morning after which they left with all my property and cash,”.
Describing the ugly incident as “a big shock to him”, and he didn't expect such to happen to him this new year.
Mr Ibu, a GoTV Ambassador, is one of Nigeria’s most talented comic characters who has featured in many Nollywood films.
