Atiku Abubakar won Taraba State presidential Poll - Read more

The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has won the presidential election conducted in Taraba State.

Announcing the results, the returning officer who is also the Vice Chancellor of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, Prof. Muhammed Ahmed Abdul’aziz said the PDP scored 189, 017 votes.

He said the Labour Party became second with 146, 315, while the All Progressives Congress (APC) scored 135, 165 votes, while the NNPP got 12, 818 votes.

Prof. Muhammed Ahmed Abdul’aziz described the election as peaceful, free, fair, and credible.
